We Wear Pink on Tuesdays Too

May 20, 2014 Julien Garman

This past weekend, we found ourselves along the beautiful cobblestone streets of Old Town Alexandria for the grand reopening of The Pink Palm. To celebrate the occasion, I wore my brightest pinkest dress and my new Rebecca Minkoff bag (that I just got from their latest sample sale!) And since my legs haven’t seen much sun since last summer, these Hanes sunkissed tights gave me that summer vibe my legs desperately needed.

I can’t wait to show you the pics I took of The Pink Palm’s new digs - the store summertime perfection. After visiting the store, we took the (adorable) town trolley down to one of my fave jewelry shops, She’s Unique. We topped off our night at the cutest Greek restaurant, Taverna Cretekou. Their patio was so romantic - definitely the perfect way to finish our evening.

To kick off celebrating Memorial Day weekend, I'm giving away two pairs of Hanes Hosiery Silk Reflections tights...so even if you aren't heading to the beach this weekend, you can still get that sun kissed look! Enter the contest below and check out what I wore in Old Town. (P.S. Could this pink be any brighter?!)

Giveaway: Fuel Rewards Cards

November 30, 2013 Julien Garman
Header12Days.jpg

Ahh the holidays. Carolers singing, hot chocolate brewing, hours of driving to Grandma's house...well we're about to fill your travels with a little more joy.

The Fuel Rewards Network Program (FRN) is generously giving five (yep, FIVE) of my readers their pre-loaded cards with $1.00 off per gallon (good on a single fill-up, up to 20 gallons) at participating Shell gas stations. Gone are the days of paying full price at the gas tank...the average person who signs up for the FRN rewards card saves 28 cents per gallon. When you're on a budget, every penny counts.

There are lots of ways to rack up points once you have an FRN card - (shopping online and dining out are just a few!) And there's no limit to how much you can save (HOLLA)! You can sign up here!

Oh, and of course, one way to save is by entering today's contest!

To enter, just fill out the Rafflecopter form below and comment on the blog to let me know where YOU will be traveling this holiday season!

This contest is open to the US and will close at 11:59 PM on December 14, 2013.  We will draw the winners by Random.org, and they will have 48 hours to respond to the email notification that they won. I was gifted a fuel rewards network card (just like the one we're giving away) to give this thing a test drive!
