This summer seemed to slip through my fingers faster than the speed of light. And to be honest, I wish it’d never end. While I’m not, like, 1000% on board with humidity, I prefer it to winter’s chill ANY. DAY.

And now I feel like I’m in a mad rush to truly TAKE ADVANTAGE Of summer while I still can, I wondered - are any of you in the same boat? Are you like me, wondering how the heck labor day is just a couple weeks away and you have an entire summer to LIVE? Here are some things I want to get checked off my list before summer’s over:

Dine al Fresco with Friends

Eating outside is my jam - so what if it’s a little WARM? So what if I’m sweating into my food? I’m here to live my best last few weeks of summer and that includes enjoying the outdoors while I still can.

Visit the Pool As Many Times As I Can

Getting sick totally ruined my pool plans last weekend but I won’t let it get the best of me for the next couple weekends. DC has a ton of awesome rooftop pools, including this one at AVA Noma. If I lived there, I wouldn’t have to travel an hour and a half to the nearest pool. Le sigh.

Post all my Summer Content

This may not be relatable to you, but friends, I have a plethora of summer content that still needs to be shared. I held onto this shoot for most of the summer when I realized last week I hadn’t posted it in time for anyone to actually plan a pool party. Oh well - there’s always next year!

Sport the Heck Out of Those Summer Sandals

I get into this routine of throwing on my sneakers cause comfort, but I only have a few more weeks of sandal weather, so I’m gonna switch things up. If my toes aren’t showing, I don’t want anything to do with them.

Eat all the Summer Fruits

If you need me, I’ll be hitting up every farmer’s market and eating all the watermelon and peaches until the cows come home. Or until they’re out of season. In which case, they’ll migrate into my cocktails.
