So Laduree is opening in DC and you’re not ready for how gorgeous it is inside. I got a sneak peek this morning thus making it my favorite morning of all time. Hands down.

A few months back the famous Parisian cafe had been rumored to be coming to DC, but it wasn’t until recently that “coming soon” window vinyls popped up at 3060 M Street, NW in Georgetown. At that point I began to pray…very earnestly, I might add. I prayed that if I got invited to anything this year - please, please oh PLEASE let it be the opening of this place.

Then a few weeks ago, it came! I couldn’t RSVP my “YASSSSS” response fast enough! Then before I knew it, the morning had come.

I was joined this morning by about 25 of my favorite DC media and influencers for a sneak peek into the space along with a breakfast tasting. I honestly can not decide which was my favorite dish because there were SO MANY good ones.

From the homemade yogurt and granola to the creamy french toast to the avocado toast to the MACARONS OF COURSE to the pastries, fresh pressed juices, coffee, oh my. I felt like I was actually in a dream. And I never wanted to wake up.
