Fall has arrived, and with it, so many fun chances to get outside, see the leaves, and get some fresh air. And with a new baby, it's given us even more incentive to get off the couch and experience new things with our little Chloe.
But, in soaking in all the fun Fall festivities, we ran into a small hiccup...Chloe suddenly decided she no longer wanted to lay down in her car seat stroller during our outings. She wants to be a big girl and sit up. We even tried wearing her on walks, only to discover that 3-month old babies can have temper tantrums too!

It's super lightweight too, making it our first choice for popping in the car for a quick trip to the farmer's market or to see the foliage. And because babies that are Chloe's age don't wear sunscreen, I SO appreciate that the stroller has a UPF 50+ sunshade, blocking harmful UV rays that are easy to forget about otherwise during the cooler months.
Not only is it lightweight, but it has easy folding functionality that takes up minimal space. If you've ever gone out to brunch with a baby and tried not to be EVERYWHERE (speaking from experience here), you'll understand why this is so great. I can't tell you how many times we've felt SO in the way when we've been out to eat with all our baby stuff. But the UPPAbaby G-LUXE can stand on its own, out of the way. And when you're out to eat, anything you can do to make things easier on yourself takes a lot of stress off so you can enjoy.
And for those who have kiddos who are either messy eaters or are prone to bathroom accidents, the removable inserts are all machine washable, stain resistant and water resistant. Insert prayer emoji hands here. If any other moms have had to clean out a poopy car seat, you know what a big deal this is!
In this design, I was excited that the storage area below the seat holds our huge baby bag (up to ten pounds!) It's funny – it seems like such a big bag but EVERYTHING is essential. It's just so nice to not have to carry it around, and let the UPPAbaby G-LUXE do all the hard work for us.
Even after only being a mom for a few months, I've realized that I get out more often when I set myself up for success ahead of time…whether than means packing an extra two set of clothes (for mom too!), packing a little extra breastmilk for car rides, or bringing a lightweight stroller that can easily be set aside.
