Iconic Jumpsuit

I stayed away from the jumpsuit trend for as long as I could. Since I have bigger hips (holla at my pear-shaped ladies!) I thought it would make me look like an oompa loompa. BUT THEN this magical thing happened and I discovered Estiletta, a local online boutique that carries small designers from Spain and Italy. Supporting small business is my jam, you guys. 

When I slipped on this jumpsuit, I was literally giggling. Like, in my room, laughing and taking selfies to show everyone I knew that I, too, could rock a jumpsuit. This little ICONIC number is straight from Barcelona and I wish I had it in a thousand different colors. And it is SO soft. 

I debuted my look at the W Hotel during launch of Stubble & ‘Stache, a local men’s grooming company (side note: my husband’s facial moisturizer is now better than my own and I may or may not have been using it every day since.) I paired the jumpsuit with nude heels (now 50% off with code EXTRA50) and this gorgeous, long layered chain necklace from Moon and Lola. I left the rest of the jewelry to a minimum, although I did sport this pretty polka dotted watch because, well, obviously.

Stay tuned over the next few weeks when I’ll show you how to wear this jumpsuit…TO WORK! *cue gasp* Yes, it’s possible and looks pretty darn awesome if I do say so myself.

Blue Leopard

Can I let you in on a little secret? You can’t tell anyone, promise? Actually, scratch that. Tell the world! I certainly am.

This dress…cost me… under $20! I found it in the sale section at H&M just before I walked into the fitting room. Pure luck! I was pretty darn excited if you can imagine.

Being a style blogger can be hard at times, you guys. Since I’m newer, I don’t always get clothes thrown at me and GIRL IS ON A BUDGET. 

This lightweight dress is perfect for cool summer nights with a pair of strappy heels and a slicked back pony, but for now, with this ridiculous weather, booties and beachy waves will do just fine.

Transitioning into Spring

Let's be real, the beginning of spring can be such a weird time. While I love this year's spring trends, the temperatures are in constant state of change, usually leaving me freezing after work. Solution: The perfect transition pieces. Case and point - this beautiful scarf from JEM Collection. 

I bought the scarf at Crystal Couture back in February and have been IN LOVE with it ever since.  I met Jennifer, the brilliant mind who started JEM at the event and absolutely fell in love with her and her designs. I love supporting local artists and entrepreneurs, especially other young women, so she's a win-win in my book.
